The company is based in Screggan, near Tullamore, Co. Offaly, a central location from which they operate a nationwide service. The company had an existing site that was not mobile friendly or search optimised and did not match their branding.
Company director, Noel Watkins wanted to update date the site to reflect the growing prominence of mobile devices as a first point of access to his business. Noel also specified that it was important to have galleries showcasing their previous work and clear links with the facility to download PDFs of their product brochures.
The new site design provides a clean and modern look that is fully mobile friendly with lots of clear “big-friendly-buttons” as calls-to-action and links to brochures. The site also makes extensive use of contact forms to engage with their customers and this drew a marked increase in inquiries as soon as the site was launched.
The newly developed site features fully matched branding, and is easy to navigate, either by menu or through using the site search facility.
is an industry leader in the manufacture of reconstituted granite components for the construction industry.
The company is based in Clara co. Offaly, making for an ideally central location to supply the Irish market. The company also exports to the UK market where their architecturally beautiful products are held in high regard.
Company director, Frank Mulligan wanted to update date the site’s style and functionality to reflect the clean-lined prestigious nature of the company’s product ranges and to ensure that it would be compatible with today’s mobile devices. In addition the site’s navigation had to be improved to meet the expectations of their net-savvy customers with a comprehensive search facility and clear menu system. Another significant requirement for their customers was the facility to download PDFs of their Technical Specification Sheets.
The new site design provides for all the required functionality in a very stylish way with lots of white-space, clear fonts and draws on a ‘buff’ colour scheme to reflect the colour of some of their most popular granite products.
The newly developed site features new branding, an elegant and clean look and is easy to navigate, either by menu or through using the site search facility.
is an experienced accountancy firm established in Tullamore in the early 1990s.
The firm’s principal, John Shanahan has worked long and hard to develop a reputation, both in Tullamore and beyond, as an efficient and knowledgeable accountant. One part of the firm’s service offering is their website which serves not only as the firm’s virtual shop-front, but also a useful resource of business related information.
John wanted to update date the site in terms of style and functionality and ensure that it would be compatible with today’s mobile devices, but he wanted to do so without compromising the image of professionalism associated with the firm. Obviously for an accountancy firm this was of paramount importance. John also wanted to retain the ability to continue serving the copious amounts of relevant information that had become such a feature of the site, but to improve the ability to navigate to whatever is needed.
The challenge then, was to create a design that incorporated up-to-date cross-media branding, consistent with the firm’s printed material, and a clean professional look with easy, intuitive navigation (including a comprehensive site search facility) and to ensure that all this worked seamlessly across both desktop and mobile devices.
The newly developed site features updated branding, a fresh and clean look and is easy to navigate, either by menu or through using the site search facility. The top-level horizontal navigation is mirrored by a fully expanded side-bar menu of whichever is the current category. This makes navigation to other articles on related topics very quick and easy.

The wedding aspect of their business was represented not only by the rings in the header, but also through the use of a vellum coloured background and the gold accenting on the navigation buttons and the panel tops. The site includes several sample video players, a Recommended Links page with a separate menu to Links sub-sections and a left panel on all pages with a contact form and News/Offers panel.

Slieve Bloom Photography Club is dedicated to sharing the collective knowledge of its members. Its membership comprises photographers with a wide range of skill levels- from amateur to professional.
The club committee wanted a site that would reflect the community and club spirit of the membership and provide a platform to publicise the activities of the club and help all of its members to grow as photographers.
The site was designed in muted colours, reminiscent of a film roll. This has the added bonus of not being a bright distraction to members editing photos on their computers or working in a darkroom while checking the club site.
Project 37 is a 4 piece rock band based in the midlands, playing a rapid fire selection of international and Irish rock spanning four decades and various branches of rock: From AC/DC to ZZ Top, from Blink 182 to the Cars, and more from The Script, The Killers, Journey…..
From the start we knew the site would have to be cool, black, and had to say “this is a live rock band”. We did it!
The design emulates the classic stark rock band image with a simple home page showing a black and white photo of the band members in a line-up. The band members then each slowly fade up into full colour, highlighting each member in turn.
The site’s pages are accessed through a simple drop-down menu leading to Photo Galleries, band member biographies, contact forms and more. The site also includes a calendar feed for gig news and social media integration with Twitter and Facebook Like buttons… and a little rock humor.
